This painting has an overall Persian Style of painting with Indian undertones. The artist here in the foreground is conveying to the viewer the texture, movement, and weight of the objects he describes rather than presenting idealized images of them. While the Indian style is prominent and clearly evident in the large areas of colors on flat yellow backgrounds.
